Data Deletion Policy

This page explains how to delete your Pill Scan account and all associated data.

How to Delete Your Account

1 Open the Pill Scan app on your device

2 Go to Settings (gear icon)

3 Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"

4 Read the warning message carefully

5 Type DELETE to confirm

6 Tap "Delete My Account" button

Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently deleted.

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

Account Information: Your email address and authentication credentials
Medicine Records: All medicines you have added, including names, quantities, and expiration dates
Labels: All custom labels you have created
Medication Schedules: All scheduled medication reminders
Adherence History: All records of medications taken or skipped
Barcodes: Any scanned barcode data associated with your medicines

After account deletion:

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email:

Send an email to: mezidosoft@gmail.com

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.

Consider exporting your data first!

Before deleting your account, you can export your medicine data as PDF or CSV:
